Warranty

Most reptile enclosure brands offer no warranty at all. The few that do bury it, gate it to one sales channel, or make you pay the shipping. We do it differently: a straightforward 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, and we cover the shipping on a valid claim.

This warranty covers the original purchaser, runs 90 days from the date of delivery, and requires your proof of purchase.

What's covered

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Delamination or separation of the engineered-wood panels
  • Joinery that fails under normal use (joints loosening beyond reasonable tightening, splitting)
  • Hardware defects: drawer slides, hinges, door tracks, lock
  • Finish defects: peeling or lifting of the TFL surface or edge banding that was present from manufacturing
  • Acrylic door defects (many competitors exclude doors entirely; we don't)

If a covered part has a manufacturing defect within those 90 days, we repair it or send a replacement part, our choice, and we cover the shipping.

What's not covered

This is a wooden enclosure housing a live animal, so real life happens. We don't cover:

  • Normal wear: scratches from substrate, decor, or claws; water marks that wipe off; fading; dust
  • Damage from moisture, humidity, standing water, wet substrate against the panels, or misting. This is a wood enclosure built for arid and moderate-humidity species; for tropical species, see our PVC line.
  • Animal damage (chewing, clawing)
  • Misuse, accident, neglect, or acts of nature
  • Modifications to the enclosure

A note on sealing: some keepers apply a clear sealant to the interior to help a wood enclosure hold up even better in more humid or bioactive setups. If you want to extend its life that way, that's a fine option and entirely your call.

Arrival damage (covered separately, and fast)

If your enclosure arrives damaged in freight, that's handled separately from this warranty. Inspect at delivery, note any damage on the carrier's bill of lading before signing, photograph it, and contact us through our Contact page within 14 days. See our Shipping and Return pages. Most competitors give you 24 to 48 hours; we give you two weeks.

How to make a claim

Head to our Contact page with your order number, a description, and photos. We'll sort it out fast, like keepers, not a claims department. Nothing needs to come back until we've approved it.
