Every enclosure ships free to the continental United States, with liftgate service included at no extra cost. The price on the product page is what you pay. No surprise freight charges at checkout, ever.
How it ships
A wooden enclosure with a stand is too large and heavy for standard parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). It ships on a pallet by freight. Here is exactly what that looks like, so there are no surprises:
- The freight carrier calls you 24-48 hours ahead to schedule a delivery window.
- The truck arrives and the included liftgate lowers your pallet from the truck bed (about 4 feet up) down to the ground.
- Delivery is curbside: the driver brings it to your curb, driveway, or front threshold. The driver does not carry it inside or upstairs.
- Someone over 18 needs to be there to sign.
White-glove delivery upgrade. Want it brought inside to your room of choice, unboxed, with the packaging removed? Add white-glove delivery for an additional fee (varies by zip code). Reach out through our Contact page before ordering to add it.
Lead times
Our 6x2x2 enclosure ships ready to go. (all five colors) Handling is 2-3 business days, then 3-10 business days freight transit, so most arrive in about 1-2 weeks.
Other sizes and custom builds are made to order. Build time is 2-4 weeks, then 3-10 business days freight transit, roughly 3-6 weeks door to door. You'll get a confirmation with your timeline when you order.
Need it sooner? Add Rush Production at checkout ($150) to move a made-to-order build to the front of the production queue, roughly two weeks faster.
Inspect at delivery (important)
Before you sign the carrier's bill of lading (BOL), walk around the pallet and look for crushed corners, holes, punctures, or water marks.
- If anything looks damaged, write "damage noted" on the BOL before you sign. This is what lets us file a freight claim on your behalf. Without it, the carrier accepts no liability.
- Take photos of the packaging and any visible damage.
- Send us the photos through our Contact page within 14 days of delivery.
We file the freight claim. You don't have to. If anything arrived damaged, we make it right with replacement parts or a full replacement, your choice. (See our Return Policy and Warranty.)
Carrier and tracking
We ship with major freight carriers (the exact one depends on your zip code). After your enclosure ships, you'll get the carrier name, BOL number, and a tracking link by email. Freight tracking usually updates once your shipment reaches the destination terminal, so quiet stretches mid-transit are normal.
Outside the continental US
Free freight covers the lower 48. For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international, send us your address through our Contact page and we'll quote shipping separately.
Changes and cancellations
Need to change your address or cancel? Reach out as soon as you can. For ready-to-ship enclosures, we can help anytime before the freight pickup. For made-to-order builds, cancellations aren't possible once production begins, because each one is cut and finished for your order. (See our Return Policy for the full picture.)
